Announcement

The Western Australian Chapter of the IAH held the annual seminar for 2007 on Friday, 6 July 2007 at the City West Function Centre in West Perth.

The year's theme was Sustainability of Groundwater Resources, with its environmental, economic and social aspects. The broader meaning of sustainability was explored in different contexts and interesting case studies presented, including the South West Yarragadee and Yandi Mine in the Pilbara. Invited speakers came from water utility, consulting, and government agencies. There was a series of presentations followed by a panel discussion and post seminar drinks.
