IAH NSW is pleased to announce two talks by the Bureau of Meteorology. Dr Andrew Frost, Senior Hydrologist, Water Information Services will provide an overview of their Landscape Water Balance Model. Brendan Dimech, Hydrogeologist, Groundwater Unit will showcase the Bureau’s suite of national groundwater products. IAH NSW is pleased to announce a technical talk by Dr Helen Rutlidge on Hydrogeochemical and ecological processes in the hyporheic zone and the response to groundwater drawdown. NSW-IAH Talk: Broken Hill MAR – Darling floodplain (09/03/216)

IAH NSW is pleased to announce a technical talk by Dr Ross Brodie, Principal Hydrogeologist for Geoscience Australia. Ross will report on the identification and assessment of aquifer storage and groundwater extraction options for the Darling River floodplain as part of the Broken Hill Managed Aquifer Recharge project.  The talk will provide an overview of the approaches utilised during the assessment and the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating multiple cross-disciplinary data sets.
