Abstract
A common tenet shared by hydrogeologists and modellers is ‘bigger is better’ when it comes to groundwater models. 3D Models are often encumbered by overly detailed representations of geologic ‘reality’ and numerically burdened by high cell counts. The talk reflects on the lessons learned during this GMDSI worked example model  (https://lnkd.in/gNbfcDV)  & encourages a discussion on how hydrogeologists use design & groundwater models to assist with environmental impact assessments.
