There was an article on Radio National Breakfast this morning about the aquifer replenishment trial in Perth. The article seemed to be making a big deal about Perth residents’ unwillingness to drink treated wastewater. But in fact, that’s not what the trial is all about — instead sewage treated to drinking water standards is injected into the Leederville Aquifer and not poured into anyone’s glass.
